COVID-19

The Board of Regents and the 东京热 (NYSED) are providing important information to P-12 schools in response to the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). The closing of schools in March 2020 has profoundly affected the lives of New Yorkers. This impact will continue through the 2020-21 school year and beyond.

Pre-K - 3rd Grade Learning at Home

The 东京热 and the Office of Early Learning have provided activities and resources for families and educators to use while children are at home during the the听COVID-19听pandemic. Some activities are听online computer resources, while others make use of听non-technological resources. The Department has provided ways to use听technology in continuity of learning听plans 补苍诲听digital learning resources.

鈥淭he 2020-2021 school year brought many challenges for educators all over the world. Teachers were challenged to adjust to a new way of teaching that was once unimaginable, and keep students engaged in a way we never would have expected.鈥
