Statement from Commissioner MaryEllen Elia on the Appointment of Dr. Deborah L. Wortham as Interim Superintendent of East Ramapo School District
"Tonight, the East Ramapo School District has taken a major step forward.听 Dr. Deborah L. Wortham brings the right kind of experience and leadership the district needs.听 Dennis Walcott and the East Ramapo Monitoring Team have been working tirelessly to effect change and improvement in the district, and helping bring Dr.听Wortham on board is evidence of the remarkable work the team has done so far.
